LITURGICAL MINISTRY
The Eucharistic celebration is an action of Christ and the Church, namely the holy people united and ordered under the Bishop. “All present contribute to the Eucharistic celebration by their full, active, and conscious participation and, where necessary or appropriate, by the carrying out of the responsibilities of their particular order or function.” (Introduction to the Order of the Mass, USCCB)
- Altar Servers (assist the priest and deacon during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass)
- Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (assist the priest in ministering Holy Communion to the faithful)
- Greeters (welcome people as they enter the Church, provide them with necessary worship aids and publications, and help them find their places)
- Lectors (proclaims the readings from Sacred Scripture and announces the intentions for the Prayer of the Faithful)
MUSIC MINISTRY

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT SMALL GROUPS
The “Small Group” Ministry meets each Tuesday in the Gathering Room, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Participants reflect upon the lectionary readings for the upcoming Sunday and discuss how the readings relate to and impact their everyday lives. Anyone is welcome to join the group at any time and enjoy a strengthening of faith that results from meditating on the Sunday readings.
